Quality Online Inspector 

Location: Onsite - Napa, California 

Hourly Rate: $20 - $25 per hour (Based on Experience) 
Employment Type: Full-Time  

Rotating Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (Including occasional weekends) 
Department: Quality 
Reports To: Quality Manager 

Join Our Team as a Quality Online Inspector! 

Do you have an eye for detail and take pride in catching the little things that others miss? Do you thrive in a fast-paced production environment? We’re looking for a Quality Online Inspector to support the operation of our high-quality label printing press. In this hands-on job, you’ll assist with quality control, troubleshooting, and recordkeeping, helping to keep production running smoothly and efficiently. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Inspect finished labels for quality, accuracy, and compliance with customer specifications. 

  • Conduct tests on materials and printed products, documenting findings and generating inspection reports. 

  • Collaborate with production staff to communicate quality issues and assist in troubleshooting. 

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality assurance activities. 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards. 

  • Maintain an organized and safe work environment. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

What You’ll Bring: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

  • A minimum of three years of experience in the printing industry is preferred. 

  • Previous experience in a quality control role is a plus. 

Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications: 

  • Attention to Detail – Strong quality control focus to ensure top-tier printed materials. 

  • Problem-Solving – Assist in troubleshooting press and production issues. 

  • Technical Proficiency -  Knowledge of quality control standards. 

  • Computer Skills -  Outlook, Word, Excel; plus, ability to learn color management software. 

  • Communication Skills -  Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with team members. 

  • Time Management -  Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet production deadlines. 

  • Organizational Skills – Maintain a clean, efficient workspace. 

  • Teamwork – Work collaboratively with press operators and production staff. 

Physical Requirements: 

This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods (up to 100% of the shift) and walk, reach, squat, or kneel as needed throughout production. The position involves lifting and carrying materials, with occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. Additionally, candidates must have the ability to distinguish and differentiate between colors to ensure accurate printing of labels.
