JOB TITLE: Quality Auditor
CLASSIFICATION: Non - Exempt
DEPARTMENT: Quality
REPORTS TO: Quality Manager
General Position Summary:
The Quality Auditor has the responsibility to perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling of labels. At Eurostampa we believe in investing in our employees. The ideal candidate for this position is very motivated, has a desire to advance within the company, and has a very strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on labels according to well defined criteria using specifications.
- Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for corrective action to supervisor.
- Place finished products on hold as necessary.
- Must work well with others in a team environment.
- Ability to meet daily standards.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Observe company work rules and safety regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Specific Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications
- Basic math skills
- Basic reading skills
- Be able to pass color blindness test.
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Dexterity of hands.
- Good computer skills.
- Reasoning ability.
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Must have good judgment of color.
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One or more years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Combination of education and experience determined by hiring manager.
