Join Our Team as a Gallus RCS Press Helper!

Are you mechanically inclined with an eye for detail? Do you thrive in a fast-paced production environment? We’re looking for a Gallus RCS Press Helper to support the operation of our high-quality label printing press. In this hands-on you’ll assist with press setup, material handling, quality control, and routine maintenance, helping to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the press operator with setup, operation, and maintenance of the Gallus RCS press.
• Load and unload substrates and materials while ensuring accuracy in handling.
• Monitor production runs to maintain top-quality output.
• Perform routine press maintenance and assist in troubleshooting any issues.
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
• Support ink mixing and color adjustments as needed.
• Document production records, including materials used and any encountered issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a printing environment is preferred (flexographic or digital press experience is a plus).
• Basic mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery is beneficial.

• Mechanical Aptitude – Understand and assist with press operation and maintenance.
• Mathematical Proficiency – Ability to work with fractions, ratios, and proportions for accurate measurements.
• Attention to Detail – Strong quality control focus to ensure top-tier printed materials.
• Teamwork – Work collaboratively with press operators and production staff.
• Problem-Solving – Assist in troubleshooting press and production issues.
• Organizational Skills – Maintain a clean, efficient workspace.
• Time Management – Handle multiple tasks efficiently under production deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods (up to 50% of the shift) and walk, reach, squat, or kneel as needed throughout production. The position involves lifting and carrying materials, with occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. Additionally, candidates must have the ability to distinguish and differentiate between colors to ensure accurate printing of labels.
