DIGITAL HP PRESS OPERATOR

We are looking for talented individuals to join our digital team as entry level press operators. You will be partnered with an experienced operator and receive on the job training to learn the skills needed for a fulfilling career in this rapidly growing field of the printing industry.
Our facility is sparkling clean, temperature controlled with state-of-the-art technology.
 

The Company:

Eurostampa is a family business that has been printing the most beautiful labels for 55 years and is large enough to have facilities in US, Italy, Scotland, France, and Mexico, yet still small enough for everyone to be on a first name basis.

We currently have 200 employees at the Cincinnati location.

Responsibilities:

• Operates assigned equipment in accordance with the manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
• Reads and is familiar with all documented procedures within the area of responsibility.
• Performs all tasks according to the production schedule.
• Thoroughly reads and complies with all special instructions and specifications.
• Starts press, adjusting speed, tension, and alignment as necessary.
• Cuts sample of printed material from end of printed roll and inspects for imperfections, such as blurred or off-center impressions.
• Monitors the production during run quality, maintaining all required samples.
• Must work well with others in a team environment.
• Recording of time and production for job costing.
• Performs all required preventative maintenance in accordance to production schedule.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area and press.
• Observe company work rules and safety regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
